Abstract

Based in the interpretative references assumed by educational research in Brazil from the 30's to the 80's, this text seeks to make explicit the emphases present in the construction of knowledge in the area of learning evaluation. Considerations about knowledge produced up to the 70's are supported by studies dedicated to the evolution of educational research in the country. Those on the 80's have their source in dissertations and theses developed in post graduate programs of the period.
