The issue of quality has emerged as a source of concern in education. Assuming the assessment as a way of promoting the improvement of reporting an experiment conducted in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. The Australian instrument "Quality Improvement and Accreditation System" was applied in an exploratory, in four nurseries that municipality, namely, a university, a hall, a philanthropic and private. Search will discuss the adequacy of the type the current discussion on quality in education.
