This paper deals, at first, with the conceptions of the procedural nature of music experience, as approached by the "New Philosophy of Music Education" (NPME), from its criticism to the "Philosophy of Music Education" (PME). After this, a discussion is carried out about the multi dimensional model of NPME and its dominant music experience as music making conception. I claim that music experience must be thought in terms of multiple natures, and against an artificial and unproductive polarization between music hearing and music making, produced by the dispute between PME and NPME.
