This article is situated in the scope of an ethical justification for education. It discusses the aesthetics of today, particularly the aesthetization of the world of life for ethics, in face of the loss of the persuasive power of metaphysical explanations. It presents recent forms of approximation between ethics and aesthetics and problematizes the possibilities of aesthetic experience acting on moral sensibility.
