This article presents the conceptions of art in the Philosophy of Difference and the implications of those conceptions for Education. It discusses Nietzsche and Deleuze’s concepts of planes of immanence to draw the ground for a pedagogy concerned with aesthetically potentializing the surface of the Earth. Thus, it uses Venus, a figure that expresses the insane effects of love, and Earth, a matter that absorbs everything and from which everything originates, to show the tragic sense involved in artistic learning.
