Resumen

The article intends to discuss the metamorphosis of contemporary educational theories brought forward by the change of the great paradigms guiding knowledge. It seeks to investigate the basis of pedagogical reflection, anchored on the great syntheses of philosophical knowIedge, taking as start point the debate between Jürgen Habermas and some contemporary philosophers (Richard Rorty in particular). The idea is to offer an analysis on the way the agglutínatíng axes of philosophícal thought and its influences in different theoretical conceptions of education were historicalIy constituted. The article focuses on the impact of the constítution of key-words that delimitate new horizons of comprehension of culture, making possible to rethink the idea of "tendencies" and "trends" in education.
