We approached the issue of the relation between knowledge and body practices, trying to place it in the dynamic of teachers and school students of Physical Education. We considered faiths and indispositions, in which insuccess appears as protagonist. It indicates a question about the limits of learning, from technical issues to the search of objective subjective elements. We bounded three levels of relation between teaching and learning: knowing/doing, know-about-knowing/doing (secundarisation), historical and cultural context and body practices. We pointed out the importance of studying concrete situations that focus different relations established by students with the school and knowledge.
