This study deals with a research carried out in the Municipal Net of education of Porto Alegre on the constitution of the identization process of Physical Education teachers. The research problem has been synthesized in the following question: How is the identization process constituted from the narratives of Physical Education teachers from this net? Characterized as a case study with an ethnographical approach emphasizing on the life stories of five teachers. The methodological procedures used were: analysis of documents, participant observation, field diary, semi-structured interviews and written narratives. The analysis showed the dynamic, dialectic and subjective characters of the identization process of the teachers. Moreover, the teacher training processes do not alone guarantee the constitution of the identization process. Summed with these are the learning elaborations, reorganized from the lived experiences.
