Resumen

BALL, Stephen J.. Performatividades e fabricações na economia educacional: rumo a uma sociedade performativa. Educ. Real. [online]. 2010, vol.35, n.02, pp.37-55. ISSN 0100-3143.

This article focuses on performance and performativity in education and social policy. It understands performance as a measure of productivity and output and performativity as a technology, a culture and a mode of regulation. It aims at producing a critique of the new regulative forms that derive from this new discourse of power. It also intends to examine a new attitude, an ethical positioning with which teachers and researchers, in all areas of education, have been faced with; an attitude based on accountability and entrepreneurship - terms that constitute, on one hand, parameters of work and social relation, and on the other hand, define a mode of acting and being.

Palabras clave : Performativity; Social Policy; Education; Productivity; Accountability.
