Abstract

During the fifth meeting of Ibero-American Countries Heads of State, in the year of 1995, the creation of the Ibero-American Cooperation Program for the Common Design of Professional Training (IBERFOP Programme) was approved. The Programme was valid from 1995 until 2001 and aimed at favoring the process of cooperation between Ibero-american countries in order to conceive a common model of professional formation. The purpose of this work is to analyze the professional educational project aimed for this Programme and its repercussions in the Ibero-american countries professional education policies.
