This article presents and discusses an agenda for research on education and cinema, dialoguing with authors such as Ismail Xavier, Alain Badiou, Didi-Huberman, Foucault and Merleau-Ponty, among others. This type of research involves working with filmic narratives, in which the construction of the scientific object is related to at least three dimensions: the specific languages with which cinema is made, the audience for which the materials and goals are intended, and some philosophical, cultural and educational questions, related to the present time.
