The following article discusses the use of violence as a representative form used by youth in present time. By analyzing documents of culture this paper intends to investigate the social conditions in which youth finds a social bond. It considers that the urgency in finding ways of making the self representative in social order, as typical of the adolescence, added to the impoverishement of the conditions of construction of experience and emptiness of public space - as a genuine space of representation - leads to the development of violence to a form of writing of self used by the adolescence and youth in nowadays.
