HARDT, Lúcia Schneider. The Beauty of Contradictory: The Clouds of Aristophanes. Educ. Real. [online]. 2025, vol.50, e145374. ISSN 2175-6236.  https://doi.org/10.1590/2175-6236145374vs01.

Aristophanes, in its comedy, classifies Socrates as a sophist, in a complete reversal of how the philosopher appears in Plato’s texts. Nietzsche also creates several Socrates masks to face him in different contexts. The purpose of this paper is to present two matters: evaluating the possible beauty in the exercise of contradictory by creating a new interpretation to make thinking, and connecting reflection with the educational dimension, updating the theme for our time. It concludes with the essay that creating, inventing is a fundamental condition because we are “[…] fruitful only at the price of being rich in antagonisms, we remain young only on the condition that the soul does not relax, does not seek peace” (Nietzsche, 2006, p. 35).
