RODRIGUES, Jéssica Nascimento  y  RANGEL, Mary. The social representations theory: an outline of a theoreticalmethodological path in the field of education research. Rev. Inter Ação [online]. 2013, vol.38, n.3, pp.537-554. ISSN 0101-7136.  https://doi.org/10.5216/ia.v38i3.00537.

The Social Representations Theory (SRT) has influenced the education field in that it is now more open to new theories, in the process of breaking with the paradigm of modernity and has produced studies in which Social Representation gets emplasis. The aim of this article was to develop the theoretical and methodological paths underlying doctoral research in education taking as its starting point the reading/study of followers of Serge Moscovici, creator of the above-mentioned theory, interested in the day-to-day production of common sense and the infiltration of scientific production into this type of knowledge. It is recognized that the SRT is a giant step toward understanding the enjoyment of reality with common sense, and school routine is a relevant study for this reference.

Palabras clave : Social Representations Theory; Education; Theoretical and Methodological Paths.
