This article makes a triangulation between policies for Brazilian teacher formation, results of research on the state of didactics and teacher formation in three States in the country, and the results of research on didactics in Minas Gerais state schools. The results of the research in didactics had previously been correlated with four international studies. Therefore, this paper presents results of a correlational research. The research method was that of comparative reading and the correlation of information, data and conclusions of various projects, with a view to reaching a broader understanding of the internal dynamics between public policies, teacher formation and the classroom reality. The analysis provided valuable conclusions about this system of relations.
