This paper presents an analysis of the proposed curriculum for teaching Geography in the pedagogical projects of distant mode Pedagogy Courses in public Higher Education Institutes in the Midwest, South and Southeast of the country, with a view to identifying the outlines of Geography teaching in these courses. The paper addresses theoretical and methodological perspectives for the teaching of Geography and presents the results. There is no consensus or similarity in perspective or curriculum outline for the teaching of geography in distant mode teacher formation in the universities investigated.
