This article describes, understands and interprets the perceptions of adolescents in conflict with the law on his experiences in Socio-Educational Center of Cuiabá. The research is qualitative phenomenological dialectic nature and is based primarily on the thought of Foucault, Paulo Freire, Graciani, and Volpi. Information gathered through direct observation and interviews show that the organization of this institution promotes violence inside and instead of contributing to re-socialize, enhances the continuous conflict with the law. The challenge is for the State to carry out social reform that provides a fair distribution of income and will therefore enable the adolescent overcome the condition of vulnerability, social and educational exclusion.
