Teaching immunology in high school is still a challenge. How can we work the different types of cells and molecules which compose the immune system in biology classes? In this paper, we evaluated the use of immunology themed comics in biology classes. Our results indicated that the use of comics helped in the approach of the subject immunology over the different types of cells and molecules with the students. In conclusion, the use of comics in biology classes can help to approach and discuss complex topics such as immunology.
