Report of an educator’s building up experience, centered in the reflection of the academician’s practice developed in a state public school network of the São Paulo city. The project participants were teachers of 1^st and 2^nd  grades of the night period and it was carried out during the PWT (Pedagogical Working Time). The task in the PWT meetings was the resignification of the LESSON with the teachers themselves and in this process the job of building um the educator happened in such a way to permit that the following categories were distinguished and deepened: the educator-subjet, the practice reflection, the practice analysis, the individual and collective in the academician’s action, the academician’s action cycle, the dialectician relationship between the LESSON and the EDUCATOR’S BUILDING UP.
