The scope of this work is twofold. Firstly, it discusses the consequences of recent organizational and technological changes in the work processes, in the occupational structure, in the organizational system of scientific knowledge, in the disqualification and re-qualification movement towards both the work itself and work forces. Secondly, it counterpoints the polyvalent and polytechnical dimensions.
