Abstract

This paper presents the trajectory of the research group in history of education of PUC-Rio. This group was created within one of the research lines of the Post-Graduation Program in Education, namely the research line on “Brazilian educational thought” (presently denominated research line on “History of educational ideas and institutions”). The paper aims at presenting themes investigated and approaches used by member of the group. It also describes some of the group’s contributions to research in History of Education in Brazil.
