The article presents the trajectory of NUPES - Núcleo de Pesquisas sobre Ensino Superior da Universidade de São Paulo, from its foudation to the present day. It emphasizes its objectives, the executed researchs as well as the on going ones, the publications and the seminars. It also underlines the particular aspects of its role as a research centre art USP.
