This article revisits the history of hypertext and considers the non-li-near reading as a reading way relationed with as newspapers and magazines. New technologies bring new ways of reading, but inherited some characteristics of traditional medias, that cause certain sensation of familiarity on the reader. By this way, a qualitative search was implemented, analyzing behavior and gesture of newspapers readers when they read on screen. This search presumed that printed hypertext reader reconfigures the way of reading, making some adaptations to read on the screen of the computer. At this point of view, the act of browsing in printed hypertexts helps comprehension and navigation of digital hypertext, something that school can helps too.
