Abstract

This paper discusses how widespread is the use of digital tools in school education through discourses that propagate digital technologies' use in public schools. The corpus of research is constituted by analysis undertaken in documents related to Project EDUCOM, National Program of Educational Informatics (PRONINFE), National Program for Information Technology in Education (PROINFO) and One Computer per Student Program (PROUCA). Survey and discussions undertaken here demonstrated that discourses mobilized through the above policies creates possibility's conditions for the electronic conduction of conducts operating in the constitution of subjects, whose behavior are in tune with living conditions in contemporaneity. The problematization presented here has foucaultian inspiration. Notions of discourse, government and governmentality were used as conceptual tools.
