OLIVEIRA, Ramon de. Educação, pobreza e emprego: uma análise a partir das categorias escolaridade, gênero e cor. Perspectiva [online]. 2013, vol.31, n.02, pp.687-719. ISSN 0102-5473.

Starting from the critics to the Human Capital Theory, we have aimed to demonstrate that the variables of sex, color and schooling have different wages in the definition of entrance and permanence of workers in the job market, as well as have direct repercussions in the occupation conditions, when it is taken into account salary and labor rights. Analyzing information from the job market, we have concluded that the inequality established in treatment towards black people and women prevents the influence of gains that could derive from the schooling enhancement, mainly among black women and that, consequently, the direct articulation between schooling and the diminishment of poverty does not have empirical support.
