Abstract

The present paper reports the results of a research that had as goal to understand and to analyze the Articulated Actions Plan (PAR) from the Ministry of Education as an efficient tool of evaluation and implementation of policies for improving the basic education quality. The analysis object was the PAR of a city in the Minas Gerais State with a focus on pedagogical practices and the evaluation in two school units. For such work, we carried out a bibliographical research, documentary analysis, semistructured interview and observation in classroom. We evidenced that pedagogical practices and the evaluation of the learning is centered in the result of the systemic evaluations, having this parameter as main pointer of quality.
