The sociocultural perspectives of Mathematics Education, with emphasis on Ethnomathematics, were assumed. The objectives were: To interpret how students of the night school math their work and their daily personal situations; to investigate the teaching of school mathematics in night schools; integrating the mathematics of life with those of the school; recognize extracurricular math situations. The study was qualitative, while the information was analyzed by ATLAS-ti software. It has been verified that there is a connection between School Mathematics and extracurricular mathematical knowledge.
