Abstract

SOAVE, Cláudia; BARBIERI, Simone Corte Real  and  ROSA, Geraldo Antonio da. Ethics as a space for voice and resonances in the care of the teacher’s care of the self in public school and in National Common Curricular Base. Rev. Educ. Questão [online]. 2020, vol.58, n.56, e-21264.  Epub Aug 11, 2021. ISSN 1981-1802.  https://doi.org/10.21680/1981-1802.2020v58n56id21264.

This article aims to reflect on the ethics of teacher’s care of the self and his resonances in the context of education, considering the constitution of the self, the other and us. The methodological foundations focus on Foucault's theory (2000, 2001, 2008, 2010), referring to care of the self, and the education conception of Morin's theory (2001, 2003). Through the writing and listening relative to a sample of teachers, we problematized teacher’s silencing, influenced by Brazilian educational policies and due to the lack of care of the self, as well as the lack of characterization and the cancellation of democratic spaces. In this context, we understand that teaching performance is conditioned to normalization and biopolitical control by the mechanisms of governmentality.

Keywords : Care of the self; National Common Curricular Base; Biopolitics; Governmentality.
