SILVA JUNIOR, Alcidesio Oliveira da; FELIX, Jeane  y  COUTO, Edvaldo Souza. Love, sex and physical distance: webdating pedagogies in Covid-19 pandemic. Rev. Educ. Questão [online]. 2020, vol.58, n.58, e-21741.  Epub 16-Oct-2020. ISSN 1981-1802.  https://doi.org/10.21680/1981-1802.2020v58n58id21741.

The Covid-19 pandemic has put thousands of people in physical isolation as the main strategy to contain the contamination and spread of the virus. This condition caused changes in the ways of seeking and experiencing sexual and loving relationships, favoring virtual dating on flirting websites and phone applications. In this context, the objective of the article is to analyze love and sex performances of a group of gay men using Tinder in order to identify sexual pedagogies resulting from webdating. The central argument is that the love and sex performances developed by this group promote sexual pedagogies that guide us to celebrate life, take care of the body, and explore other possibilities for online dating and sexuality. The research method was qualitative, descriptive and analytical, nethnographic in nature. With the research, we concluded that webdating, in times of pandemic, reactivates ideals of romantic love as strategies to maintain the physical and mental health.

Palabras clave : Pedagogies of webdating; Covid-19; Tinder; Cultural pedagogies.
