Abstract

BOUTIN, Aldimara Catarina Brito Delabona  and  FLACH, Simone de Fátima. The student movement and the possibilities of “subversion of praxis”. Rev. Educ. Questão [online]. 2021, vol.59, n.61, e-25172.  Epub Apr 19, 2022. ISSN 1981-1802.  https://doi.org/10.21680/1981-1802.2021v59n61id25172.

Derived from a broader research, the present text aims at discussing the contributions of the student movement to the “subversion of praxis”. The proposed reflections are of theoretical nature, based on bibliographical research and under the light of historical and dialectical materialism. For this purpose, discussions are presented on how the "subversion of praxis" is situated in the context of class struggle. The text indicates elements that help in the definition of the student movement and how it can contribute to the overcoming of the social, political and economic reality that underlies the capitalist society. Finally, it highlights that the participation of young people in the student movement can be a driving force for the "subversion of praxis", since it provides essential experiences for the understanding of the lived reality and, consequently, for the search for a new way of life, that has social justice, equality and freedom as its foundations.

Keywords : Student movement; Subversion of praxis; Political participation; Class struggle.
