This essay describes alternatives pointed out for overcoming of gender inequalities in teaching and Education for the diverse expressions of machismo in contemporary society, as well as for the expressions of sexism in the curricula of teacher formation courses. It socializes theoretical and methodological notes from these exchanges between researchers engaged in the construction of an egalitarian society through teaching and Education. In a first moment, tensions for the structural oppressions of the society were presented, among which, we highlight gender inequalities and their forms of reproduction through teaching and Education. In a second moment, we discussed sophisticated forms of sexism expression nowadays, as well as alternatives for the construction of a horizon free of hierarchizations of the bodies. Finally, different forms of reproduction of sexism in the curricula of teacher formation courses were evaluated.
