This text aims to analyze the linguistic-grammatical, cultural and social concepts, and prejudices which emerge in the discourse of “representatives” - with varying degrees of literacy - of each of the social and institutional realms (media, school, family etc.) when they judge, socially and not linguistically, the so-called “grammatical errors” as “unpatriotic crimes”. Also, the speech of teenagers in a research about “The construction/production of writing in the Internet and at School” has led to similar judgments, both in the school’s voice and in their own, a reflection of an education which has deleterious effects on social and educational relationships, especially in the linguistic education offered to our children and young people.
