The purpose of this article is to present the results of a research centered on process evaluation with the use the portfolio as name an evaluative procedure to which three dimensions of the curriculum are added: to know, to know how to do and to know how to be. Thus the evaluation andthe records show these three fields in the student’s education. This research was sponsored by the Universidad de Concepción Research Department DIUC (Dirección de Investigación Universidad de Concepción nº 2002.162.042‑1), and carried out at Technical High Schools in the province of Concepción - Chile.
