Resumen

This essay is part of the theoretical discussions presented in the master’s thesis dealing with learning assessment. In this sense, it puts forward ref lections on this theme, observing the permanence of school traditions in teaching practices since the emergence of “tests”. In order to understand and support the assessment perspectives in this context we sought to establish a dialogue between the philosopher/historian Foucault through his book Discipline and Punish and evaluation theoreticians like Perrenoud, Hoffmann, Luckesi, Vasconcellos and Sant’Anna.
