Abstract

This study presents some thoughts about teaching experiments involving research developed in the undergraduate Pedagogy program, at one of the public universities in Bahia-Brazil. The experiments analyzed in this study involved, among several actions, the problematization of reality and the definition of research objectives; the collective development of tools for data gathering; pair or trio field work in public schools; the writing of a report. The analysis highlights, among other aspects, that to take research as an educational guiding principle implies the systematic work of cognitive and affective elements, and this means a process of changes in attitude, a learning to learn process, and learning to become a person and a teacher.
