Abstract

The present paper analyzes the academic production on educational evaluation in teacher training in Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America. This is a qualitative study, based on critical-documentary analysis. It uses as its sources 14 articles, published in 13 journals. The analysis found that: the production flow corresponds to the years 2013-2020; the publications are mainly in journals from Colombia and Brazil; the authors are of different nationalities, with recurrence of Chileans; their institutional link is in universities; some are part of research groups and networks. We concluded that the articles address: conceptions and/or perceptions about evaluation; what evaluative practices are; and, prescription and teaching of evaluation in teacher training courses.
