Abstracts In this article Jelin does an approach between the feminist and human rights issues comparing aspects where she sees this approach as possible and fruitful for women After a brief account of the demands that culminated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights she describes political moments in Latin America in which women more than any other sector of society led the struggle for these rights within the feminist sphere the author points to reproductive rights as correlates of human rights
