Gender quotas have become the ideal means to ensure the integration and mainstreaming of women in political life. More and more countries and parties have backed such measures. The question is to determine the impact they are having. Hence in this article we have focused on evaluating the results achieved by gender quotas in increasing the participation of women not only in the political field but also in areas of power.
