SOUZA, Gabriela Conceição de; VOTRE, Sebastião Josué; PINHEIRO, Maria Claudia  and  DEVIDE, Fabiano Pries. Rosiclea Campos in the Brazilian Female Judo. Rev. Estud. Fem. [online]. 2015, vol.23, n.2, pp.409-429. ISSN 1806-9584.  https://doi.org/10.1590/0104-026X2015v23n2p409.

After a trajectory of decades in the shadow of male judo, women began to participate in international competitions more often, coming in 2012 to conquer the Olympic gold medal. The objectives of this study are to identify and interpret the perceptions of the coach of the Brazilian national women's judo since her arrival in the national team in 2000 until the conquest of the Olympic gold medal. We use the method of life history that has the coach as the center of interest. The analytical categories are "difficulties", "alternatives options" and "decisions taken". The study finds that Rosiclea Campos broke the glass ceiling that hinders women to move up command positions in the sport
