The reading of this as well as other women's magazines helped to integrate women in urban society, promoting ways and trends to be followed and copied. To this end, I analyzed twenty photo novels published in Capricho magazine, underscoring the construction of the image of heroes / girls that served as a "models" and inspiration for many women readers of Capricho.
