Abstract

SUSSEKIND, Maria Luiza; CARMO, Lorena Azevedo do  and  NASCIMENTO, Stephanie Duarte Láu do. ‘Pinning’: Curricula, Hatred and Gender. Rev. Estud. Fem. [online]. 2020, vol.28, n.3, e71684.  Epub Sep 01, 2020. ISSN 1806-9584.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1806-9584-2020v28n371684.

The article takes a complaint made by a student of the Teaching Education Program of a public university, claiming of being ‘pinned’ in their way of thinking and existing within the class conversations. The idea of being ‘pinned’ is captured and used as a compass to navigate the debates that take place in class. In this manuscript, the threads of these networks of knowledge exhibit prejudice and hatred against those who are not ‘close’, assuming the desire to annihilate the other and erase the difference. We conclude that it is possible to point out relations between complicated conversations held in class and tests in the context of global neoliberal tsunami of strong conservative tendencies.

Keywords : Curriculum; Tsunami; Hatred; Conversation.
