Resumen

MORENO, Mariana Juárez; RAESFELD, Lydia Josefa  y  GONZALEZ, Rosa Elena Durán. Intersectional Diagnosis of Violence towards Indigenous Women. Rev. Estud. Fem. [online]. 2021, vol.29, n.1, e63207.  Epub 01-Ene-2021. ISSN 1806-9584.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1806-9584-2021v29n163207.

The objective of the research was to identify, through an intersectional analysis, the types and modalities of violence that mostly occur against indigenous women in two states of Mexico and identify which were the main identities that make women vulnerable. The research is qualitative of a descriptive and exploratory type. The data was collected from interviews. The results show that the most frequent type of violence is sexual violence, mainly perpetrated by their partner, in the family environment. The intersectional analysis made it possible to identify that low schooling, little support networking, marrying, or joining with their partner in adolescence and being economically dependent on the partner makes women more vulnerable violence.

Palabras clave : Violence; Women; Indigenous; Intersectonality.
