This paper discusses gender inequalities in engineering courses at a campus of a public university, from the perspective of both genders, and also from female researchers/professors. We analyzed the number of female students that started and finished each course, graduation time, influencers for the career choice, gender discrimination in academic community, number of women in departments, conciliation between family, maternity and career, as well as obstacles faced in the work market by the female public.

Keywords : Gender; Engineering; Career; Family; Maternity.
