Abstract

BIDASECA, Karina  and  COSTA, Michelly Aragão Guimarães. Traveling-worlds Towards María Lugones. Rev. Estud. Fem. [online]. 2022, vol.30, n.1, e85054.  Epub Jan 20, 2022. ISSN 1806-9584.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1806-9584-2022v30n185054.

We seek to travel the worlds towards the theoretical-practical thought of the decolonial feminist philosopher, researcher, educator, singer, activist, lesbian, and pilgrim of “world-traveling” Maria Lugones. Our objective was to map, through her work gathered in different territories, her experiences, reflections, and activism to think about the possibilities of building coalitions of relationships between “women of color” in Latin America and other geopolitics. Her work and life are our living literary archives to situate feminisms throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. The concepts of “fusion” in the articulation between race and sex-gender, “coalitions of resistance” and “travelling worlds” are valuable perspectives that contribute to non-hegemonic feminist thought, in addition to giving us clues to generate of human and non-human resistance strategies in a damaged land.

Keywords : Decolonial feminisms; Intersectionality; Epistemologies of the South; Resistances.
