Abstract

COSTA, Claudia de Lima. Interrogating Lugones: reflections on an unfinished debate. Rev. Estud. Fem. [online]. 2022, vol.30, n.1, e85070.  Epub Jan 30, 2022. ISSN 1806-9584.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1806-9584-2022v30n185070.

In this article, I outline, first, a brief genealogy of the concept of intersectionality, its relevant contributions to feminisms and its equivocal appropriations. Second, I analyze the critical reading that María Lugones makes of this concept and point to some of the limitations of her assessment.

Keywords : Intersectionality; Women of Color; Black Feminism; Coloniality of Gender; Decolonial Feminism.
