Abstract

ARONOVICH, Lola. Escreva Lola Escreva’s trajectory and resistance. Rev. Estud. Fem. [online]. 2022, vol.30, n.2, e86981.  Epub June 01, 2022. ISSN 1806-9584.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1806-9584-2022v30n286981.

In January 2008, when I started my blog, Escreva Lola Escreva (Write Lola Write), I didn't expect it to be a feminist blog necessarily, but a personal one. After all, it even has my name in the title. However, as I have considered myself a feminist since I was eight years old, practically everything I write has a feminist, inclusive, and in defense of human rights bias. 14 years later, my blog is still alive, and it is always gratifying to hear that a reader began to fight and overcome prejudice after reading my blog. On the other hand, not everything is a bed of roses. It's been more than 11 years that I have been threatened and attacked by organized groups of misogynists and neonazis, which I nicknamed mascus (short for masculinists). My resistance and my difficulty to register police reports inspired the creation of Lola's Law, which assigns the Federal Police the mission to investigate misogynist crimes on the internet. This is my experience report. We continue being the resistance.

Keywords : Feminism; Blog; Misogyny; Resistance.
