SOUTO, Andrea  e  SERRONI PEROSA, Graziela. Latin American women in Southern Europe: an intersectional analysis of migrations. Rev. Estud. Fem. [online]. 2022, vol.30, n.3, e79337.  Epub 01-Set-2022. ISSN 1806-9584.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1806-9584-2022v30n379337.

This article compares the trajectories of Brazilian and Colombian migrant women in the Iberian Peninsula. Our objective is to show the ways in which the structures of gender, race and class organize the migratory processes of these women, in order to anchor intersectionality and make it legible in their bodies. We point to the postcolonial sociopolitical context as a generative and interpretative framework of the conditions that have made Colombian and Brazilian women appear as main actresses of migratory processes in Spain and Portugal, respectively. Through the use of the multiple correspondence analysis technique, we explain the way in which different situations/categories permeate the life experiences of these migrant women in their movements along the transnational social space.
