This study deals with the journalistic work of Egyptian activist Siza Nabarawi (Rédactrice en Chef). Since her association with the Egyptian Feminist Union (EFU), Nabarawi directed the magazine L’Egyptienne (1925-1940). Her speech emphasized the need for a change in Egyptian society where women could achieve better rights, within a global conception that covered all areas: cultural, artistic, political, and legal. An in-depth analysis is provided of the activist texts published in L’Egyptienne, which also show the personal and intellectual profile of the journalist Siza Nabarawi.

Keywords : Arab Journalism; L’Egyptienne; Siza Nabarawi; Feminism; Egypt.
