This article aims at talking about an idea for the evaluation of the learning process which has reached the challenge of its practice. It comes from some presuppositions such as a methodological structure which didn't separate school education from the social context. From the three important moments evaluation - remedial classes, passing/failing and registration of grades - it emphasizes the last one (registration) for considering it as the moment to establish the relationship between the evaluation of the students' performance and the philosophical and educational intentions. It searches for keeping cultural traits such as the use of numerical symbols. Intending to unite these facts, the registration of the students' performance is expressed in grades (numbers) only when he reaches a satisfactory performance, which is the grade, linked to school success. For the ones who haven't reached this ideal performance one should register NR, that is, Needs Remedial Classes. In this article you can see results of idea applied in a school.
