Resumen

The author supports the thesis claiming that technological development does not lead to an uncontrollable acceleration of historical time, thus impelling Pedagogy to adjust itself to o society in permanent change. On the contrary, he sustains the idea that Humanity is experiencing the first stages of a new era, the "Technological Era", and that the registration and analysis of its dynamic vectors will allow a prior determination of "possible futures", as well as their axiological evaluation. This will confer upon pedagogy the heavy historical responsibility of preparing and establishing the viability, or not, of a propitious, yet threatened and difficult, future. In the development of his theses, the Author, after established those aspects that, in his opinion, have a permanent character in Pedagogy, proposes objectives and methods as o solution of today’s most evident educational problems.
